A well-known beach resort in Lekki is searching for an experienced and motivated individual to take on the role of Head of Food and Beverage (F&B).
The ideal person should have a solid background in hotel or resort management and be skilled in handling daily operations, marketing, and business growth.

This position plays a major role in ensuring top-quality food, efficient operations, cost control, and guest satisfaction across all the resort’s food and beverage areas, restaurants, bars, lounges, and event catering.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic and Operational Duties
- Plan and carry out food and beverage strategies that match the resort’s business goals.
- Supervise the daily running of all outlets, ensuring smooth coordination between kitchen, service, and bar teams.
- Make sure that all food and drinks are served promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a high level of service quality across all departments.
- Menu Development and Quality Control
- Work closely with chefs and the kitchen team to design creative and appealing menus.
- Ensure that food presentation, portion sizes, and taste meet the resort’s expectations.
- Review menus often and make improvements based on guest feedback, seasonal ingredients, and cost efficiency.
- Keep track of food costs to ensure profitability without compromising quality.
- Staff Supervision and Training
- Hire, train, and lead the food and beverage staff, including chefs, waiters, and bartenders.

- Customer Service and Guest Relations
- Ensure guests always receive high-quality service and have a memorable experience.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Culinary Arts, or related field.
- 5–7 years of proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or similar role, preferably in a resort or hotel.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Good understanding of food and beverage trends and local market demands.
- Skilled in budget management, cost control, and menu pricing strategies.
- Familiar with POS systems, inventory tracking, and report generation.
- Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene laws in Nigeria.
