Kogi State University (KSU) now Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) is a private state university located in Ayigba Igala land in Kogi state establish in 1999 by prince Abubakar Audu who was the State Governor then. There Motto stand for “Knowledge For  Self Reliance ”

From the information  above, you can see that the departmental cut off  mark is quite different  from the JAMB cut off mark. Those who do not meet the departmental cut off mark are advised to do the following:

  1. obtain a JAMB change of institution form 
  2. Obtain a JAMB change of course form 

How the KSU screening score is determined

  1. Both Jamb and KSU POST UTME screening performances overall influence the cut off marks.
  2. Availability of admission quotas in each department determines the cut off point
  3. The number of applicants applying for admission will determine the cut off mark
  4. KSU admission policy also plays a role in determining departmental cut-off marks 

Requirements for admission to KSU

Aside from meeting the KSU cut off mark, there are other eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.

  1. you must participate in the screening exercise 
  2. Your O’level result must be intact
  3. You must have chosen Kogi state University as your first choice institution 



  1. If your Jamb score is below 140, you are ineligible for KSU POST UTME screening  
  2. Meeting Jamb and KSU cut off marks is necessary, but meeting additional requirements is also essential
  3. Highly competitive courses like law, medicine among others have higher cut off marks.
