 Wigwe University Admission Requirements

Wigwe University has two ways of admitting students into degree programs which are Direct entry and Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).   Below we are going to look at the two of them. 

UTME Entry: this is for students applying from secondary school. 

  • Applicants must have Five credit passes in Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) including mathematics and English language, physics and other relevant science subjects in not more than two sittings. 
  • Applicants must have a good UTME score. 
  • Applicants must pass the university’s entrance exam

Direct Entry: 

  • Applicants must have at least five credit passes in their Senior secondary Certificate examination, including English and mathematics, physics and other science subjects
  • Applicants must have a minimum of credit in their university or National Diploma. 
  • Applicants must pass the university’s entrance exam and interview
