New Feature from WhatsApp: “View Once”

WhatsApp, one of the most common and popular instant messaging applications, is preparing for a new feature where sent media content can be viewed only once by the recipient. The details of the news prepared for you by Sahne Media editors, who keep their finger on the pulse of the digital world, are as follows:

Mark Zuckerberg and Will Cathcart, who manage Facebook and WhatsApp applications, made a statement recently and stated that they were working on a new feature that will make WhatsApp money. This new feature, called “View Once”, is now available to beta users.

How to Use the “View Once” Feature on WhatsApp?

According to the screenshots shared by WaBetaInfo, users will be able to select and send only one media element from their gallery. After selecting the media item, it is necessary to press the button with the number 1 displayed next to the “Add Title” bar in the application. Afterwards, media items shared with the other party can only be viewed once.

This feature, which will be valid for photos, videos, or GIFs, can be shared not only in personal correspondence but also in groups. Every member of the group will be able to view the shared media, and the sender will be able to keep track of who saw it.

The receiving party will have the opportunity to view the sent media once, but will not be able to take a screenshot of the media. WhatsApp app does not yet have screenshot detection feature. So, unlike on Instagram, the recipient will not see a notification that the media has been screenshotted. This new feature of WhatsApp has been activated for WhatsApp beta users in Android 2.21.14.3 version and it is expected that all WhatsApp users will be introduced to this feature in the near future.

It is not yet known whether the “View Once” feature will attract the attention that Zuckerberg and his friends expect. We also have news about another WhatsApp innovation that is currently used in beta. from here you can reach.
